Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Period & Eligibility

Warranty Period:
1 year from the date the original purchaser receives the motorcycle

Original Owner Registration:
Warranty is automatically registered to the original purchaser when ordered from the official Tietie website.

Warranty Transfer

The warranty may be transferred to a subsequent owner only if:

The 1-year warranty period has not expired

The new owner provides the original purchaser’s name and order number

 


2. Warranty Coverage

This limited warranty covers replacement of parts deemed defective in materials or workmanship, at Tietie’s discretion.

Covered Components

Frame (1 year):
Defective frames will be replaced with a new or equivalent frame.
Labor costs are not included. Replacement frames may be from existing inventory.

Battery (1 year):
Defective batteries will be repaired or replaced free of charge.
No cash refunds are provided.
Replacement batteries do not reset the warranty period.

Original Parts & Components (1 year):
Includes handlebars, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, pedals, rims, wiring, etc.
Tietie covers shipping costs for warranty replacement parts.

 


3. Shipping Damage Claims

If damage occurs during shipping, customers must file a claim within 7 days of delivery.

Please contact service@tietiebike.com and provide:

Photos or videos clearly showing the damage

Scratches on free accessories are not eligible for replacement or compensation.

 


4. Warranty Exclusions

(1) Normal Wear and Tear

Including but not limited to:
Brake pads, brake rotors, tires, tubes, chains, sprockets, freewheels, cranksets, spokes, cosmetic corrosion, and electrical component corrosion.

(2) Misuse, Negligence, or Accidents

Damage caused by:

Accidents, abuse, misuse, racing, stunts, or improper use

Improper storage or exposure to liquids, chemicals, moisture, sand, or dirt

External events such as fire, flood, storms, lightning, earthquakes, or theft

(3) Assembly & Modifications

Improper assembly or maintenance not following official instructions

Irreversible modifications (e.g. drilling or welding)

Use of non-Tietie approved accessories or parts

(4) Cosmetic & Identification Issues

Scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage not caused by Tietie

Surface finish deterioration

Removed, altered, or unreadable serial numbers or barcodes

(5) Battery-Specific Exclusions

Use of incorrect or incompatible chargers

Tampered battery seals

Using the battery for non-Tietie products

(6) Geographic & Sales Channel Limitations

Products purchased or used outside the US, EU, or UK

Products purchased from unauthorized sellers or platforms

 


5. Warranty Claim Procedure

    Contact the official Tietie service center where the product was purchased.

  2. Submit Documentation:
    Email service@tietiebike.com with:

  3. Proof of purchase

  4. Photos or videos of the defect or damage

  5. Evaluation:
    Tietie reserves the right to determine warranty eligibility.
    Replacement parts will not be shipped without prior review of submitted evidence.
